New Shirts & Etsy Update Coming

dsc_0056-21First, I have to say that we just took the dogs sledding with us in the dark, down the winding trail behind our house and it was so much fun! Basil rode on my lap and Lexi ran alongside Ben as we cruised down the luge. They thought it was such a great game and they were so cute in their matching coats that my mom gave them for Christmas. What fun.

Actually, I have never formally introduced Basil! [said "Bah-sil" like Basil of Baker Street] He's the puppy on the right and was Ben's Christmas gift this year. Ben was shocked (I love surprises) and Lexi loves having a playmate. He is another delightful dog from Bernie's amazing rescue, A Place to Bark

This week I have finally gotten back to making shirts (a little easier now that the studio/office is usable and beautiful). I decided that I needed a set line-up of shirts with the same designs and embellishments, wisely suggested by my friend moop (an experienced and always-busy handmade goods seller). So I sat down and matched the different colors of the shirts with the images and embellishments that work best. I have named each shirt after a town I have lived in or near. I did all the stenciling and screening today. Next is embellishing and then getting some photos shot of each style.

A full studio tour is in order, but until then this gives you a sense of how it is shaping up.

Note: Prints by Mati and Kelly Rae are on the wall bringing me inspiration and fond memories of Squam Art Workshops 2008.
